I wonder if anyone ever had a problem opening a file...It played
perfectly before xmas, but after the holidays it wpnt open. Logic
just beeps 2 times and it goes " Try to save your song "
Any other Logic file will open, so I think this is a very delicate
matter.
I would be happy to let anyone see/ test the file. I have downloaded
all new updates ( even tried ) some old ones too. Both in OS 9.2.2
and OS 10.3 , the same thing happens.

Generally speaking, when I have had a problem opening a song and was
getting this message, it was due to plugin issues. You can test this quickly
by
removing all of your plugins from the components (or vst in os9) folder,
rebooting your mac, and then trying to open the song again. Of course you
will have missing plugins, but you may be able to salvage your song this
way.
If it opens, try removing any third party plugs from the song and/or slowly
put
back your plugs into the components folder, doing a restart every time, to
narrow it down. Hopefully that, and not something more pernicious is the
cause of the problem.
