Subject: automating sends (muting)
Message #153171
i understand how to use automation, but am i missing something? i can automate most parameters in real time, but can't mute sends for some reason. --i have to draw them in in the arrage window. is that the only way this can be done? tv

Unfortunately, yes. There is no Fader message corresponding to "send bypass", so automation can't be recorded, and they can't be externally bypassed via a midi message. The Logic Control _can_ bypass sends, but that still can't be recorded as automation. I complained to Emagic about this some time ago (with, as usual, no response). I encourage others to do so in the hope of getting this implemented.
