Subject: Strange Newbie Question
Message #153119
I apologize in advance if this is simple. I am recording a midi segment in cycle mode, with auto creation of new tracks for each cycle, and with auto muting of the tracks. I have an audio track that is providing background and I am "re-taking" a section over and over. Everything appears fine - multiple midi tracks are there, etc. I cannot unmute these tracks. The mute button turns on and off, but I cannot get any of these midi tracks to play through the instrument. Any help will be appreciated.

Logic doesn't mute the Arrange tracks, it mutes the midi _sequences_ (or audio regions if cycle-recording audio) on the tracks. Muted sequences/regions have a dot before their name. Click the sequences with the mute tool to unmute them, or select them and use the "mute object" keycommand.
