DP has a Wait Button that when enabled will start playback or recording when
it receives the first MIDI event (i.e. first chord played on MIDI keyboard).
Does Logic Platinum 6.3.3 have a similar function?
Thanks

you betcha!
go to the file menu, choose song settings, then metronome
settings...with that window open, choose the drop box at the bottom of
the window. first choice in the list is for "wait for note"

sure does, there's a button for it in the transport window (over to the
right a bit)

Yes there's a button for it but it doesn't work does it? I asked about
this awhile ago and was told that that feature has been broken in
Logic for years. I just tried again and Logic just starts recording
immediately (no waiting for midi). What am I doing wrong?
