Michael in Sweden At first I thought "What is this dude rambling about?" Then I noticed that in a post someone included a part of this dude's message, and it made things clear. See the included message: ------------------------------ From: Michael Karlsson <micke.k.karlsson@d...> Subject: Re: Re: Extensions Do you mean that OMS isnÂ¥t needed for my Midiman USB Midisport 2x2. Tell me because I would love to turn OMS off cause I donÂ¥t like it. Michael in Sweden ----------------------------- So the single quote(', is probably wrong to Mac users, :-)) gets translated into this yen symbol(ISO symbol 165 and ASCII symbol 157). Maybe the Mac still works with the ASCII set. In Win9x you can't use the ASCII set anymore, at least not in my case. I've seen all these weird symbols show up quite some time where they shouldn't have been used. Now it makes sense why some people 'use' the star symbol instead of single quotes or other strange symbol showing up like the capital S with two horns(I call it the "horney ass", :-)). Seems that there is still much work to be done to have these machines to talk to each other. Yoonchi. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ ¥ð ;ðnÂÂÂ&c opy;hí "Change has always come from small minorities."
