Subject: [GEN] Score Editor-creating new voice in single staff problem
Message #151329
Hello, I'm arranging a piano piece for 2 guitars.I have one -8 treble clef staff for each guitar.I have these bracketed together.I've already arranged 16 bars of using one voice per staff. In the 17th bar of the 2nd guitar staff on the 1rst beat I need a dotted half note(3/4 time)E note in the bass and an 8th note octave E in the tenor to resume the tenor voice melody in 8ths.I've been unsuccesful with the options in the manual to actually see the bass note as a dotted half note and an 8th note on the same beat in the tenor.I can get the playback to sound right but I need this for printing the score. Is this possible to do in Logic 6 platinum? It doesn't seem like it should be that big of a deal to create polyphony within a single staff and be able to print it as well.Any help greatly appreciated. Thank You, Jay
