Does anyone know if it's possible to run a Trak2 directly into the Spdif
port of a
G5, and also a MOTU 24 I/O at the same time. Or, is it possible to run the
24 i/
o with an MOTU 828. I thought I read that Logic couldn't access both at
once.
Thanks, Dave

Sort of.
Logic can't access both outputs at once.
but it IS potentially possible to use the built in Audio for another
application controlled from Logic.....perhaps Reason? (Aside form the more
obvious rewire method)
Basically, Logic can only access one Core audio Driver at a time...
I suppose if you had a TDM or DAE system as well as a core audio system, you
might be able to do as you propose.....as it appears the driver can be
selected simultaneously in Logic's audio driver options as well as the Core
Audio.

Hey,
I'm having all sorts of problems with running Logic Audio Silver (4.8.1)
in combination with the new SampleTank (2.0.2.r1):
- Lot's of hanging notes; even selecting a midi track that's wired to
ST2 will sometimes trigger a random note
- ST2 settings aren't saved with my Logic songs
- When I'm using use two ST2 instances and press "play", I
literally
hear the sound of an explosion bursting through my speakers and then
nothing.
Anyone experience similar things? Which magic button should I press to
fix this?
I bought SampleTank2, because I was very happy with the free version (of
SampleTank1) I downloaded ages ago... but now I'm pulling out my hair!
