I've just installed Logic 6.
I'm trying to sequence a song but finding that Logic is not playing
back all the notes.
Even when I have all other tracks disabled and sequencing one
single-note guitar picking sequence, it is missing notes in an
eighth-note sequence.
This will be a couple of notes over a 24 bar sequence.
I have checked the velocity note overlap, note doubles, but it still
does it. I can see no diffference in successions of notes that play
correctly and those that don't.
It's as if Logic can't hande too much midi information., and in this
particular and very undemanding sequence, it just can't keep up.
I've been using Logic for years and never had this problem.
I fear I have something set incorrectly after the installation of
Logic 6, where I had some other problems and turned a lot of
things off and on in my attempt to address that particular issue.
Now that first issue is resolved, I still have the missing midi
notes issue, which was concurrent with the other problem but
not related.
What setting could overload Logic's midi capability? I'm sure it's
just a setting set incorrectly.
Really appreciate any advice. Working to a deadline.
