Hello Marius, Your disk problem : 1) Apple vs 3rd party drivers make a difference 2) HFS may be slightly better than HFS+ 3) Spread disks among SCSI ports 4) Cabling or settings limiting SCSI bus rate 5) Try a different SCSI card These are what I can think of that might limit disk performance...
