But if I'm using a Unitor8, aren't I already using 32-bit drivers? I don't
understand. What other drivers might I have?

Wow, I wish I had known this before I uninstalled everything and cleaned

I know, but I can't afford to buy any new software right now and Win98 will
render some of my other software unusable, so I am hesitant to install it
until I figure out how to prepare for it when I *do* have the money.

Whenever I go into System > Device Manager > Sound, video and game

number of
ports and the port names. After that it opens the properties dialog, but it
doesn't offer me an option to configure anything. :(
