Subject: Re: 3.6.1 LAW and Alesis qs7 unwanted midi data transmitted
Message #9439
I have a Qs7 and just got Logic 4.x and have not had problems you describe. Could it be in the MIDI interface? I'm using OMS (cause I have a Unity DS-1) and a MOTU USB micro express and it took quite a while to get things configured in general. There's a QS7 driver in OMS ( as well as freeMIDI) and things run well now that I've got the environment configured. ernie_tokay@... wrote: > From: ernie_tokay@... > > Hi folks. > > Whenever I try to play or record, My QS7's lcd display says "recieving midi data"...then the darn thing (QS7) resets to an unwanted setting. > > I've tried the midi options (turning them on then off, restarting each time)and using a qs7 environment...nothing makes this unwanted transmission from Logic go away. > > I've worked with a rep on this list from Alesis in the past to no avail.
