Hello all,
I am having an issue with sound popping and crackling when I record
from my digital mixer into Logic. The sound coming into the Mac sounds
fine until I click record on a Logic track. Here is my setup:
- 400 Mhz G4 w/ 1Gig Ram and IDE 7200 RPM 40Gig HD
- OS X 10.3 (Panther)
- Logic Gold 5.5.1
- Roland VM-3100 Digital Mixer with R-BUS
- M-Audio Delta R-BUS PCI Card
I think it may have something to do with Sample Rate but I have not
been able to get anything going by changing that. Any help is very
appreciated!

Hi,
The 3100 and R-Bus are a real pain to configure on newish systems, I tried
and never got it running right on OS X. Call Roland, the 3100 was SUCH a
pain, they have had a tech department/line just for that piece for several
years... track down the number and call them.
Good luck.
Uh, gotta change the system clock to RMDB-2. Probably page two in the R-Bus
manual
