If you want to record OVER the original part replacing it with a new one you can select the orange X button on the transport bar which is supposed to represent the erase head on a tape machine. However you'd be missing out on the benefit of being able to choose from multiple takes. Simply create a new track on the same audio channel and mute the original. It gets to be a very quick process...honest! -- The International Youth House. Great Music and More. http://www.youthhouse.ntl-midlands.com/ Regards Dave Howard
