Subject: Re: Logic features I love - Notation
Message #9364
Hi fellow-LUGgers Almost 97 % (or so) of all the mail passing by on this list consist of audio and technical stuff. No problem with that. My entrance in Logic actually was from the notation facilities in Notator, as was the case with many 'talking' and even more 'silent' LUG-members, I'm pretty sure. To my opinion, notation in Logic is excellent. I spend about 50 to 80 hours a week with scores and parts in Logic, which almost proves I love it.... I think no other program beats it in this combo of scoring and sequencing. Graphically it may be left a bit behind by Finale, but in this dynamic interaction of scoring, sequencing and audio Logic rules! Though I still have several serious wishes to come true, I can say that almost anything is possible in Logic's scores - and it's looks are as esthetical, professional and persuasive as one could wish, for any musician or publisher, from one-bar examples to symphonic scores.
