Subject: [LAM] Setting up foot pedal with Logic
Message #147406
Hi- I am attempting to set up my guitar-MIDI rig with Logic and an ART X-15 Ultrafoot controller. Basically I just want to be able to switch tracks in Logic, either by scrolling through using the up/down buttons on the foot pedal or, preferably, by stepping on the button that corresponds to the track number. Also, I would like to assign one of the sweep pedals to volume- I know what controller number is coming out of the pedal, but I don't know where to assign that controller number to volume in Logic. I've tried the obvious approach of opening up the Key Commands window and using the "learn MIDI" function, but this doesn't seem to work. Am I missing something obvious? Or do I need to buckle down and learn Environments in Logic to make this happen? Thanks Scott
