According to Rick Moisan, president of Emagic USA, who I spoke with this
morning, Emagic sales and distribution will now be handled completely by
Apple. The online store and resources will soon move to Apple's site and
the customer service and tech support divisions will also move from the
Grass Valley location to being under Apple's umbrella, but Emagic will
remain a division of Apple Computer.
There are some really great things on the horizon at Emagic that will be
revealed at NAMM. I will be seeing Emagic next week at the AES show in NYC.
If I find out more, I'll post it here.

That's just great; now I'm wondering what will happen to my
order for the Logic 5-->6 update that I placed about a month
ago... ARGH!
Right now there's no Logic products at Apple's web store except
a Gold bundle and 2 plug-in collections....
