Subject: [LAM] Marquee Tool does not quantize in 6.3.1
Message #147336
If I turn off Smart Snap and then try to make a selection with the marquee tool it will not quantize the selection to the nearest format value. In the transport the format value is set to 16th notes . If I turn Smart Snap back on, then the selection with the marquee will be fine .I may be wrong but this does appear to be a bug. Martin

Subject: MOTU PCI 324 to 424 upgrade option for $295!
Message #147337
This is a reply to #147336.
I just went to https://secure.motu.com/ and saw that there now is a an upgrade option for ***registered*** PCI 324 users. We can get a PCI 424 for $295!! Has somebody already upgraded? Is the G5 compatible PCI 424 card also compatible with the older G4's? Best Ray ------- Raymund Beyer http://www.brainstorm-music.com

Subject: [LUG] [LAM] Project Manager Woes!!
Message #147338
This is a reply to #147336.
Is anyone else having problems with the Project Manager?? I'm using 6.3.1 currently, but even previous versions caused very strange results using the "Consolidate Song" option. The most recent thing to occur would be saving a new song as "Save As Project", then choosing the appropriate hard drive. Then you automatically get sent to the "Consolidate Song" window so you can then create a folder for the song, etc. Well, when I went into the Project Manager to view the folder structure, it had placed 2 audio files into the folder and said that the song relies on these 2 files. The crazy thing is, I recorded no audio at all, strictly MIDI, and those 2 audio files were stereo bounces of some other song altogether!!! And of course they were red because they weren't supposed to be there. I have yet to see "flawless" results with the Project Manager. There is something wrong with it to say the least. I now have to go back through alot of songs and make sure the audio is where it is supposed to be.......so far the last 5 songs I've done are not!!! I think I'm ditching the PM as I neatly organize my audio anyway! Any HELP or opinions would be appreciated. Thanx in advance. M-De

Even if you have not used them in your arrangement check the Audio window because if they are in there the song will require them.
