i want to sync a VCR with logic (PC) via unitor8. with unitor control i am able to record ltc EBU on the audio-track of my mono-VCR. when i play the VCR, logic doesn´t follow, inspite the LTC signal is on my jack, which i plug in the LTC-input of my unitor8. i also tried various signallevels and i even used a tape deck instead of the VCR. logic didn´t follow! does the unitor need a symmetric input-signal for LTC or is there anything damaged?

No symmetric signals on the Unitor. When the Unitor recognizes incoming LTC, the LTC In LED will light constantly, and also the Computer MIDI LED, as the Unitor then sends out MTC to the computer. If Logic does not get into External Sync mode, check if Sync Mode is set to "Auto".
