Did you call 530-477-1051? I called them on Tuesday and spoke to Dave. He
was still there, at least on Tuesday, although it sounds like they really
still aren't totally sure how to take orders in this "black
period" when the
US store is kaput but the Apple Store doesn't have upgrades available.
You would think the company would WANT to have product available to
sell...must be some new business model...

That's good to hear. I will try again this week. That was the
number that I tried.
