Subject: [LAM] How to fix empty Open Recent menu under OS X
Message #147264
Have an empty Open Recent menu in Logic under OS X ? The preferences file is corrupted. This is the solution : 1. Make sure Logic is not running. 2. Open the Finder. Go to your home folder. Open the Library folder. Open t= he Preferences folder. 3. Move the file named "info.emagic.logic" to your desktop. (this file has = a icon with the Logic logo and a switch) 3. Start Logic. The Open Recent menu is still empty, don't panic! (it is em= pty because no recent file has been openened yet) 4. Go to menu Logic Platinum > Preferences... > Key Commands... 5. The Key Commands window has its own Options menu. Choose Import Key Commands... 6. Locate the previous "info.emagic.logic" on your desktop and choose Open.= 7. Quit Logic. You now have a brand new preferences file but your key short= cuts are not lost. You should set-up other preferences again. 8. You may throw the "info.emagic.logic" on your desktop in the trash. Have fun : ) Frédéric Hahn
