Had hesitated to say it on the list... but since you mention M-Audio's own words, I confirm this for the PC/XP platform : at the same driver settings, Cubase SX demo 1.02 is behaving much better with the FW 410 than LAW 5.5.1 in terms of CPU consumption. One consequence is the absence of random audio crackles when playing some very hungry soft synths (like Edirol Superquartet). Couldn't test it on the Mac since there is no SX demo available - but let's hope it is not also the case. Yann Le Bihan
