Hello
On the document I got for the G5 it is said :
> 115 tracks with 5 plug-ins on each with a 2x2 GHz G5
> 59 tracks with 5 plug-ins on each with a 1.8 GHz G5
> 52 tracks with 5 plug-ins on each with a 1.6 GHz G5
Can Emagic confirm those values ?
Are the tracks mono or stereo ?
How many samples ! (64, 128, 256) ?
Any benchmark using Platinum and silver reverb ?
Is 6.3 fully optimized for the G5 or can we expect more optimization with
Panther ?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

I think it's much more a real situation test than checking out reverbs only.
Cheers

Hi,
I understand what you mean, but you need to get his song to do a comparison
on your computer.
Thanks in advance.

And why do I have the feeling that I don't want to hear a song with 7
Stylus and 5 Absynths in it?

Hey, that's my track there...
I don't use each Stylus or Absynth instance throughout the track, in fact in
some cases I use each for one-off sounds.
Don¹t judge a track by the number of plug-ins.

Why not ! I use an Andromeda A6, a DX7, A Proteus Vintage, a TG500 ... Much
less greedy ; cpu wise !
Is you want I can add a full orchestra with a choir to your song !
