Subject: [LUG][LAM] -2 Core Audio Error - Driver Not Found
Message #147191
Frustrated new user here. (OSX 10.2.6 on a dual 867 with 512 Ram - Platinum 6.2.1 - EMI 2/6 Interface) I'm using an emi 2/6 audio interface with Logic and it keeps giving me this error -2 core audio driver. I see my emi 2/6 driver in the driver pulldown menu, but it wont play when I've got it selected. And it seems to be inconsistant. Sometimes Logic will launch and everything will be fine. Is there a way to un- install the emi 2/6 driver? I was thinking about just trying to re-install it. Another error I keep getting is Unable to synchronise Audio and Midi. This one I don't understand at all. I'm not using midi at all. I'm literally using Logic for audio mixing only. I'm only importing 45 to 60 minute (shows) wav files. Finally, my Core Audio Panel settings seeme to change on their own. Can anybody shed some light on that? Any help is greatly appreciated. ( you have no idea how happy I'd be ) Danny

This is a reply to #147191.

I had the same errors on the same equipment. I decided not to use above 44.1 and 16 bit recording/playback and after un-install / re-install (using the installer v2.1) I must say the "Error -2" and "Unable to sync" have almost disappeared. > Finally, my Core Audio Panel settings seeme to change on their own.
