Subject: How to debug 4.0 Environments in 3.6?
Message #9339
I've downloaded Len Sasso's 4.0 Environment Tutorial, as well as several other environments from the LUG site, and some of them produce errors when I try to load them into 3.6, with a message like "please remove the selected object" (I get an initial warning indicating that the environment was created with a newer version). How can I determine which object is causing the problem? Is there any documentation on Environment changes between 3.6 and 4.0? Even if I can identify the problem, is there any way to fix it short of deleting the object? Also, when I try to import most environments into a new layer, I often don't see anything in the layer even though no error is reported. In some cases I can load the same environment successfully if I use it as the initial song rather than trying to import it. Is this a known problem? ----------------------------------------------------- Thorn Roby UNIX Engineer, Cavion Technologies 7475 Dakin Street, Suite 607, Denver, CO 80221-6920 troby@...
