Subject: bounce feature

Sorry for my naiveness but... in this "semi-realtime" situation (where the "player" - MIDI synth sequence, MTR - doesn't "care" about latency) couldn't Logic simply play HD audio LATER to compensate for the time needed for the realtime sources to be processed ? I'd just hear my tape sounds half a second after they were actually output from the MTR, what's the big deal? Even some latency when recording fader levels seems quite acceptable in most cases.
