There's no way to do it in the arrange window with a single command. But
you can do it with two commands. First, with the region selected, hit
the solo key command. The hit the play from selection key command. Or
you could use the "set locators by object and play" key command;
thus
giving you the option to engage cycle if you want to hear it over and
over again.
