Subject: LAM: Doesn't send plugin settings after loading!
Message #145493
Can anyone help? I'm using the excellent "Ambience" plugin under Logic 6.2 OSX. I have my song set up with a really lush long decay reverb, but when I load the song the reverb plays with a very subtle short decay (although all of the sliders on the plugin are in the correct position). Clicking on each of the plugin's parameters fixes the problem, but this obviously isn't practical as a long-term solution. I've tried the obvious stuff - "Send Used Midi Instrument Settings after loading" and "Send all fader values after loading", with no success. Am I missing something? - this used to work fine in OS9. (Incidentally if you "Save As" your plug-in setting you don't need to click each slider to reset the plug-in, you can simply re-load the setting) I'm getting a few plug-ins and even Audio Objects misbehaving or having had their sliders moved when I re-load songs. It's a bit unnerving. In one song I've now got a routine of turning the metronome (Klopfgeist - Audio Instrument 64) down as it always loads up at a volume of +3.8dB. And no, it's not in a group. I'm running 50-odd track / 12 bus / 10 Audio Instrument mixes and it's getting to be a pain having to check all the channels before beginning a days work Stephen.
