Subject: [LAW] All instruments except selected one out of timing
Message #145487
I guess topic says it all. I have a bunch of VSTi's loaded, but they all appear generally un-tight, notes that are too short won't get played etc. Usually it's on all instruments but the selected one, but sometimes also on the seleced intstrument. Any pointers? Logic Audio Platinum Windows 5.5.1 M-Audio Delta 410 (I have tried different buffer settings) WinXP Pro, somewhat audio-tweaked (background instead of programs) The VSTi is self-written, if that helps, but I have had these problems in the past without knowing why they disappear... =) Help, please? =) Johan Althoff

This is a reply to #145487.
unified midi engine in the midi communication prefs turned on? i had this problem on the mac and this solved it .... onboard audio card maybe installed ? just suggestions though ... try load without any autoload or song, configure two channels for vsti and check if its still happening ... if no, your autoload maybe is corrupt ... happens sometimes ... good luck, and let me know. btw, if your vsti is made with synthedit, it shouldn`t be a problem at all ... if you coded it on c++, then simply try to start up logic without this plugin and try again ... kind regards, nico
