I think there is a Sound Diver demo somewhere on Emagic's site. It probably
works for 30 days. You could download that and any modules you need for your
gear. Receive all the names, use Autolink to get them into the Multi
Instrument editor and save that song just to get names into Logic in OSX.
or: copy them and paste them into simple text. Then you could open that text
doc in OSX and copy it and paste into the Multi
Instrument editor. Just a theory, I haven't tried it.
then there's also a bunch of Logic files on the Installer CD that have names
already pasted for a lot of gear. I think Swiftkick has some of those too.
I agree with you that they should provide this functionality right in the
Multi Instrument editor without making us demo sound diver.

Some word on Emagic's plans for SoundDiver (and WaveBurner)
on OSX would certainly be welcome. It's been a long time.
LP
Can Cubase export the patchnames to a text file?
