Subject: [LAM] No more i/o trick for UAD-1
Message #145470
This just in, fresh from UA's Sept newsletter: "Logic Users: No More Need for the I/O Helper trick Another exciting development with the release of 3.2 is a fix for the issue Logic users experienced when snaps, crackles and pops appeared if tracks were loaded with Powered Plug-Ins when under more than one “execution context”. Logic users quickly became acquainted with the “I/O helper workaround” which remedied the issue. But through recent collaborative efforts between UA and Emagic, a fix has been added with the 6.1.1 release of Logic, and the 3.2 release of the UAD-1 plug-ins, which permanently remedies the issue. Plug away—with no workaround!" Now UAD-1 users just have to wait for the release of the much anticipated UAD 3.2 drivers... October???
