Only thing I could suggest would be the latest version of the
drivers 0210 dated Feb 24 2003.
http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/mac/macos-october-2002-update.html
I use the AGP version on a PC without any problems:
Here's some suggestions.
Run in 16-bit color (32K colors)
If you have a check box for "write combining" (may be PC only),
turn
it off.
If you have a "Fast Write" setting, turn it off as well.
Run at a lower refresh rate.
Dual monitors uses up PCI bandwidth so the lockup me be the result of
a PCI bus error. Perhaps one of the suggestions above will give you
more headroom.

Hi!
Anybody else having redraw problems with a NVIDIA GeForce4MX (in a DP 1GHz
Quicksilver)?
The text in my environment window is often crippled after scrolling the
window. :-/
I´m using the 3.0 driver set.
Do the 3.5 drivers (should be installed on MDD Macs) fix the problem?
If so, can someone email me the drivers?
Apple DP 1GHz Quicksilver
1,5GB RAM
MacOS 9.2.2
SBS Bit-3 7-slot PCI expansion chassis
PT Mix++, SC-II+ TDM
LAPM 6.1.1
Thanx,
Peter

I would say it is almost impossible to run a PCI dual card on a DAW without
hick-ups. It's not enough bandwidth. Running on very low resolutions and/or
bit renders the whole point with dual card useless...
Get a dual AGP card and your problems should most likely go away...
