I read the section in the Logic 6 manual (which has an alarming amount of
mistakes and grammatical and spelling errors) about how you can import your
own key commands from the Key Commands window by selecting the Logic
Preferences file. The copy of Logic you are running on (probably not your
own machine) creates a backup of the machine's original Logic Preferences
file, appending it with .bak. Does this mean that *all* Logic preferences
are imported, blowing away the original machine's Logic prefs?
I use Logic 6 at my studio as well as on my laptop at home, and want to
share key commands but definitely not preferences, as I have a totally
different setup at home. This is the only way I can figure out how to
synchronize my ever-updating key commands without killing existing prefs, if
possible.
