I am about to install Logic Audio on my Mac. I noticed one line in the
installation
manual that says to please install the interface software first.
Can anyone tell me if, or how much, this matters. I don't have my audio
interface yet,
but I'd like to get going with some MIDI stuff (just using the sound card in
the Mac).
Thanks for any advice.

Don't worry, you can install Logic and use it with mac av, then install
a better audio interface later.
I think that the manual says to install the interface software first
because the setup assistant needs to know how many in/outs your
interface has. just that.
