quite interesting reading for logic 6 users, especially since they use
exactly the same name as the tool within logic 6 and even the same logo!!!
"FX Freeze.com has announced the forthcoming release of FX Freeze - a
DAW CPU resource management tool.
FX Freeze is a tool, which will help you forget about CPU, RAM or
polyphonyshortage problems while working with VST instruments or FX. With FX
Freezeone can freeze any processor heavy instrument or FX and free up some
CPU power with just one mouse click. Released horsepower can be used to
setup more FX or increase the effective polyphony of DAW. DAW CPU can be
used up to200%, 300% or even more of its efficiency without overloading the
system. Any frozen tracks can be returned to their normal state, i.e.
unfrozen, with just one mouse click.
FX Freeze features

Pricing and Availability
FX Freeze for Windows 98/ME/2k/XP will be released July 2003 with
manufacturer's suggested retail price $49 / €49 for 1 computer.
