hello -
a well-sussed friend told me about a way to force logic to use a second cpu
for, say, a softsynth, rather than just screen redraws and such by dropping
an i/o plugin in the synth's track (as i recall. i had been drinking).
two questions:
1. is this only available for logic 6/mac users, or can logic 5+ users on XP
pro/win2k pro enjoy this perk?
2. is this only available for logic gold/platinum, or can we poor sods with
logic audio 5.3 rock the procs as well?
thanks.

No. Logic only works in dual processor mode on a Mac.

I believe it would work in any version of Logic on a Mac with dual
processors.
