hello - a well-sussed friend told me about a way to force logic to use a second cpu for, say, a softsynth, rather than just screen redraws and such by dropping an i/o plugin in the synth's track (as i recall. i had been drinking). two questions: 1. is this only available for logic 6/mac users, or can logic 5+ users on XP pro/win2k pro enjoy this perk? 2. is this only available for logic gold/platinum, or can we poor sods with logic audio 5.3 rock the procs as well? thanks. -- yours, niall. .. . . . . . . . . . aleph null. a simple insinuation around silence. see: http://www.vietnambla.com hear: http://radio.vietnambla.com .. .radio.free.destruktobot. .. playing now: beefcake - 352 ii - coincidentia oppositorium

I believe it would work in any version of Logic on a Mac with dual processors.
