Subject: [LUG] [LAM] Missing Filters
Message #138329
Morning all! Being pretty new to all of this I was going through my manual for Logic 5.5 Gold and it mentions the Autofilter - so I thought hay lets give it a go. When about it the usual way click and hold insert on a audio channel is list the AU's and the other but I just can't find the AutoFilter. So I checked the Plug-In Settings folder, there is a setting for it, which has me puzzled. Should I have this as it states in the manual or not?? Many thanks! Steve@...

There are a couple of Plat-only effects, which are all described in the Gold manual as well -- which indeed is confusing. The ones that come to mind are PlatinumVerb, Autofilter, Enverb, Phaser... maybe the I/O helper plugiin (although I'm not sure about that one), and probably a couple more... There's a comparison chart at www.emagic.de which lists the differences between Gold and Plat. It's outdated, since it deals with v4.x (or at least it did the last time I checked), but at least it'll give you a clue as to which plug-ins are Platinum only. -- Hendrik Jan Veenstra <h@...> Omega Art: http://www.omega-art.com/
