I run two partitions (using Partition Magic), one with my audio stuff, and this does not have Norton installed. Doug

On two separate computers, using WindowsXP and Norton, both AMD Athlons (one old one new), I have not had any problem at all running Norton AV along with Logic. On the old machine both Norton AV and Norton Internet Security were running at the same time as Logic... What version of Windows are you using?

I completely rely on periodic manually online scans and have no problems with virus' what-so-ever. Be sure to upgrade your software regularly, especially the OS and OE updates etc. Further more be sure your network is properly/safely configuered with FW etc. And of course never open e-mails from unknown people with attachments... ;-)
