Hi Federico,
Well, maybe... if the Quattro's USB implementation (including drivers)
is 100% efficient. It's not. If you visit any other support forums you will
find that the M-Audio Quattro is beset with several problems. Many users
complain of pops & crackles when trying to record a single stereo track
while
playing back one or two tracks.
USB is still problematic as an efficient audio interface, even Emagic's USB
interfaces run into problems. There's not much overhead, when the system is
taxed... USB is the first complain.
I think Steinberg listed the audio interface and hard drive speed as the
two most important factors in getting the Grand running.

I had an USB Quattro some months ago, I really know what you're
speaking of.
But now I have a Tascam Us-428 and I must say that it works really well
with the latest drivers.
Latency is really low, recording at 24 bit with 4 inputs is fine and it
also has 4 midi ports and a control interface for logic.
USB interfaces are more faulty than pci and firewire ones, but believe
me, there are some good ones.
Usually, if an interface works well, then it should have no problems
with any program or vst instrument.
Anyway, I have never tried The Grand, so I may be wrong.
