I can't understand this.
I haven't tried The Grand, but I believe that it requires the same
resources as any other vst instrument.
So, if there's any bottleneck, it should be cpu and disk, not the
bandwidth of the audio interface. I mean, The Grand should work with
just a stereo output.

What does the complexity of the source sound have to
do with the audio streaming bandwidth capability of the
interface? A complex stereo sound and a simple stereo
sound both require the same streaming bandwidth.
