Well i know u can automate vsti's with midi controllers using the
track automation setup, that im sure every1 knows about. And i know
that i can have hardware record knob tweaks. What im wondering is how
can i get my knob tweaks for my hardware appear in the track
automation instead of the hyperdraw and i dont want to have to
convert it everytime?
Also on the track automation subfolders when u select the controller
number is there anyway to set that up for presets for certain synths
like maybe "virus C cutoff" instead of "CC 40" i hate
having to look
it up everytime....
And also is there a way to setup up logic so i can control multipule
synths at the same time, but seperate synths, and have the control
being recorded go to the apropriate track? like i record on my nova
the cuttoff and the cuttoff of the virus c and it records both to
each synths individual track. and with that how in the hell do i stop
on synth from changing perameters on another synth...
sorry guys but i read the damn manual over any over but i just dont
get it, it starts out simple but then start flip flopping. I tried to
get into the tranformer and got nowhere, read on faders couldnt get
them to work like the vsti control automation track. so u r all my
last chance :D
email me if u have any ideas i rarely check the forum, ill check
these next few days just to be sure but i could save it easier in an
email.
thanx guys i appreciate it
peace

Get my "autodemo.zip" from my website's Logic section (see sig). 4
tutorial songs that explain how to do this...

No.

My guess would be: no. AFAIK, automation is recorded on the
currently active Arrange track. Although... taking my autodemo as a
starting point, I wouldn't know what happens if you cable different
Track Automation Splitters into different channel strips. Might very
well be that you can actually record automation on different tracks
simultaneously. You'll just have to try for yourself.

No, it isn't simple.

This is exactly what the autodemo deals with. You might find it
enlightening (or not :).
