I do a lot of transfers to/from Digital Performer via OMF, and I find it works very well. Digital Perfomer doesn't always connect all the stereo channels right (they are translated to dual mono), but other than that everything works great. I'd recommend you do it this way. This is a reply to #138252.
In Logic 6, just do a Freeze of the session and import the effected files (Freeze Files) complete with automation moves, effects, etc. into Performer, it's like performing a massive multi-track bounce.
