Hi, I just hooked my Alesis sr 16 into the midi inputs, but the instruments
are all clashed together and unorganized. All I need is the drum track to
one song. If anybody can help, please let me know?

Is this the same question about "Little Wing" (Hendrix) asked
differently?
At least 3 people here, including myself, have outlined what you need
to do to best use your SR-16 with downloaded General Midi drum tracks.
Read the Logic manual: Environment section, "Mapped Instrument".
Or
try a search for "mapped" in the Logic 5 online help.
Or even just have a play with selecting all the snare notes in the GM
sequence in the Matrix editor, and moving those up/down until all the
snare notes are on the note the SR-16 needs to play a snare sound.
Repeat for the kick, etc.
Make a little effort, huh?

i think this may be because each midi note is starting the drum loop on the
alesis. you need to change some setting on the alesis or just use one note
per bar (or whatever the loop length is) to trigger the drum machine
