Subject: [LAW] Getting around non-vst/dx software
Message #138087
I've been using Logic Fun (freeware) for quite some time ... It's great for my purposes (I have a very small midi set up) but it's NOT VST/DX compliant. I'd like to use VST plug ins with it if possible. Is there a way around this ??? Perhaps, MIDI-OX, Hubi's Loopback, ect ... or something similar to these would do the trick ! Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob, there are some standalone hosts for PC. Asio FX Processor is one example, you can drive it from Logic thru a virtual midi cable like you mentioned but you cannot run Logic in ASIO mode and I'm not sure if your soundcard supports proper multiclient and multimode operation. Sort of tricky to make this work properly... Regards: Darth
