Hi ,I'm a recent convert to Logic - on vers. 5.3 - have a simple query which I'm sure has a simple answer but has me stumped...when in the sample edit page, how come my pencil keeps turning into a magnifying glass eash time I go to edit a waveform? Thanks- Jen

It's telling you that you need to zoom in closer before you can use the pencil tool. You need to be at a pretty high zoom resolution before the pencil will become active. Ian Ian G.
