You can try to use the Serial Port for your Midi interface. You have 50/50% chance it will either work or not. It seems with most USB machines, that you are better off using the USB port. However, I really think the instability comes from using OMS. Really, I do. A better approach is for you to try out FreeMIDI and activate the OMS emulation. See if that will work. Of course, when you have the time. What would really be cool is if the industry could somehow standardize USB protocols, so we don't have to deal with it.
