USB has not a common MIDI standard like the serial port interfaces, so you have to know the _undocumented_ protocol between the USB MIDI interface and the _undocumented_ OMS MIDI driver to replace OMS. This was easy for the Unitor8 and AMT8, because we developed the MIDI interface _and_ the driver, but we have _NO_ documentation about USB MIDI interfaces from other vendors. And it is _NOT_ our job to write good device drivers for USB MIDI interfaces from other vendors, so they don't have timing problems... Blame Opcode, not us!
