Or double-click & paste back into the transport to relocate the SPL.
But not such a good idea if you're building a QuicKeys or AppleScript
macro for bulk-replace of regions/sequences, as the transport's
position will not necessarily be consistent.
Turns out that "paste at original position" followed by
"pickup clock"
does indeed solve that problem (not moving the SPL), and packing a
folder prior to running the macro eliminates other regions/sequences
from hijacking the "select next event" command. The folder gets
unpacked following the bulk-replace.
Works very nicely as an AppleScript now, lives in the "Logic"
folder
in my Script menu in OS X. If anyone wants it, let me know, but it's
keycommand-specific, so you'd have to edit the script to suit your
specific keycommands.
