Hi there. I'm looking for some kind of MIDI controller with a bunch of knobs
to
control softsynths and effects on a hardware sampler. Anybody out there
using a
knob farm they REALLY like?
Also, if anybody out there knows an easy way to switch the function of knobs
on
an Evolution MK249, I'd appreciate it. Like, if you're switching between 2
different softsynths that have different CC numbers for paramaters (cutoff,
resonance, pitch, etc) and you want to be able to switch without redefining
CC
numbers... thanks!!

Does the MK249 not support saved/recallable knob assignments (or are
they a pain to recall)? Take a look at the Fadermapper demo ... see my
signature.

Midi controller learn in Logic. Soft takeover. Lots of memories.
Tracks remember control assignments. Write track automation.

You can use a switch and a transformer in Logic's environment to change
between and redefine CC numbers.
I used to do that with my 'Phatboy'
cheers
