Subject: [LAM] Audio Hardware settings (Logic 6)
Message #136343
Hi, Now using, and enjoying, Logic 6. (The only problem I have experienced is that the "Logic Help" doesn't work - it brings up a little box bottom left which states "empty sequence". V5 works. I can however get Logic Help by clicking on Help Centre and choosing it). Taking a poke around I got to the Audio Hardware settings, and realised I no longer have any idea what I should or shouldn't have switched in - large buffer? - Software Monitoring, etc? My gear is : Logic Platinum 5.1.3 Mac G4 1GHz, Mac OS 9.2.2, 1.5 Gb RAM, GXP 60Gb 2nd audio drive with Sonnet ATA 100 card, M-Audio D1010 rack mount, M-Audio 410, Unitor 8 Mk2, Sony E430 19" monitor. I use a mixer for monitoring. And should I tick the "plugin compensation" setting - in some other menu! Any help appreciated.
