Does anyone have any opinions on a good stereo mic (as opposed to a matched pair)? I want something very quick to set up, easy to use and sounds great. I have considered (lower end of budget) rode nt4 but also Royer sf12. I may hire something to check out but it would be nice to have some opinions from the great audio gurus here. It will be used in different environments but also needs to be used in a smallish (12ft x 16ft) room, I was thinking the Royer may not be too good in a small room due to bipolar cracteristics.
